Children are messy and Madison is no exception.
Our last crib-sized mattress protector's elastic wore out after being washed so I immediately tried this one out to make sure we did not have a repeat... and it survived!The mattress pad is supposed to be waterproof but we. fortunately. have not had Madison test that yet.
It fits snugly on her mattress under her normal sheet without a problem. Washing it did not change the quality of the product.I definitely believe this would make a great baby shower gift or gift for new parents.
