Product Review: Wild Republic's Audubon Birds Blue Jay

This stuffed bird is so unique that I cannot be happier that Madison is obsessed with it.

The Audubon Birds from Wild Republic have authentic bird calls that are courtesy of The Cornell Lab of Ornithology, which I think is pretty nifty.

The collection also features other birds that children may see at a bird feeder: a cardinal, a bluebird, and a robin, are merely a few of those available.

Madison's face lit up when she woke up from her nap and saw her bird.

Wild Republic has several other awesome products available like sharks, squirrels, and toys that are holding tissues if a child is sick.

The blue jay came with a packet that has pictures of all their products and a Wild Republic jump drive that has a digital copy of this information and more pictures of their products.

If you do not necessarily want a bird you can also support the Audubon mission or learn more about birds here.

I think these stuffed animals are reasonably priced and there is a wide array of options.

Product Review: Birdious Acrylic Bird Feeder

I love acrylic bird feeders and the Birdious Acrylic Bird Feeder is no exception.

This bird feeder came in two sections unlike the other bird feeders I have tried but the sections go together easily.

The only problem I have had with this product is that the suction cups are a little hard to put in the feeder. I found that it is easiest to place them in the slots and then twist as you pull them up.

There are two other distinct differences; first, is that it comes with an extra set of suction cups and there are also a few different sections.

The first is for water and the other two are for bird seed which sets it apart from the other bird feeders I have seen. The weight of the bird seed and water will keep the bottom half from coming out even in windy or rainy weather.

The perch is similar to the first bird feeder I reviewed but it goes all the way around.

Overall, this is a great feeder especially if you live in an apartment where you do not have a lawn. I believe it would make a great gift.
